Introduction to Becoming a Walden Staff member
Want to have the coolest summer job ever? Want to have fun outside for the summer months?
Welcome to Camp Walden! We have over 750 acres of land and private lakes and tons of activities to
keep you and our campers active and happy. Join us next summer! This link gives you detailed
information about becoming a staff member at Camp Walden.

Position Descriptions
Here you can find descriptions of all jobs available at Walden such as Unit Heads, Cabin Counselors, Specialist instructors/counselors, Secretarial and Administrative staff, nurses and cooks. Look through and visualize
which one you would thrive in over the next camp season!

Staff Application
If you want to join the Camp Walden team as a counselor, health provider, staff member, or department head,
please fill out the application form and email it to the Walden office! Thank you for choosing Walden, we look
forward to working with you next summer.

Our Summer Camp Calendar includes a list of all of the important events and visiting days to keep in mind
over the summer months.

Camp Location and Directions
We have included a link to a number of easy-to-follow maps detailing how to get to Walden from other major
cities in Ontario. The links are printable, and include estimated driving times.
We don’t want anyone to get lost!

Final Instructions
All the last minute things you need to know before leaving for Camp as well as a staff clothing order form and a
list of items we recommend packing for the summer.
